Welcome in Italy is an independent guide. It is not a ticket office and is not connected to the Italian Ministry of Culture or to any museum, park or monument it describes.

How the guide is funded

Some links go to booking partners that sell tours and tickets. If you book through one of them, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way.

How to recognise a partner link

Partner links are always marked. In running text they carry a small “partner” label; larger boxes are headed “Partner link” and name the company. A page that contains any partner link says so at the top.

What partners do not influence

Prices, opening hours and free-entry days shown on this site come from official sources only, and each guide names the official place to buy. A partner’s price is set by the partner and may be higher than the official fare.
